Upacara Peringatan Hari Pahlawan

Meski hari Ahad adalah hari libur, seluruh pegawai dan karyawan serta kelas IX MTsN 1 Kudus datang ke madrasah untuk melaksanakan peringatan hari pahlawan, Ahad 10 Nopember 2019. Peringatan itu dilaksanakan di Hal. Basket MTsN 1 Kudus.

Dalam kesempatan itu Ka. MTsN 1 kudus, H. M. Taufiq Hidayat, S.Ag, M.Pd sedikit mereview lagi tentang perjuangan arek-arek Suroboyo dalam memperjuangan kemerdekaan Indonesia. Berawal dari perintah Belanda dan Sekutu agar seluruh rakyat Suroboyo meletakkan persenjataan, namun hal itu dibalas dengan resolusi Jihad yang dikeluarkan oleh KH. Hasyim Asy’ari.

Dalam Resolusi beliau mewajibkan bagi seluruh ummat Islam yang berada di sekitar Suroboyo untuk ikut turun melawan dan mengusir penjajah. Sebanyak 10.000 arek Suroboyo berhasil menjadi syahid sementara 1.500 serdadu Belanda dan sekitarnya mati.

Taufiq juga mengajak kepada seluruh pengajar dan peserta didik untuk menggunakan kemerdekaan ini sebaik-baiknya. Karena perjuangan ini tidak dibayar dengan berpangku tangan, namun dengan keringat dan darah yang bercucuran. Upacara peringatan Hari Pahlawan berakhir pada pukul 08.00 (FR)
