 Lagi-lagi, murid madrasah bikin bangga Indonesia dan layak diacungi jempol. Adalah Rasyif Aulia Mahmud, murid Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri (MTsN) 1 Kudus, Jawa Tengah dan Wardatul Khoiroh, murid MTsN 1 Lumajang, Jawa Timur.

    Atas prestasi keduanya, Rasyif dan Wardah, panggilannya, mengharumkan nama Indonesia dan nama madrasah di kancah internasional.

    Rasyif berhasil meraih medali emas gold secondary 2, dalam ajang Hong Kong International Mathematical Olympiad (HKIMO) di City University Of Hong Kong.

    Menurut Kepala MTs N 1 Kudus, Taufiq Hidayat, Rasyif sudah sepuluh kali menjuarai lomba matematika di tingkat Kabupaten maupun Provinsi.

    Bahkan, pada tanggal 15-21 September 2019, Rasyif akan maju lagi di tingkat nasional dalam rangka Kompetisi Sains Madrasah (KSM Kementerian Agama RI mewakili Jawa Tengah.

    “Alhamdulillah, saya bersyukur atas prestasi Rasyif. Karena, prestasi ini kali pertama mengikuti lomba di kejuaraan tingkat internasional. Perolehan tersebut tak lain dari hasil perjuangannya dalam mengikuti berbagai lomba,” ujar Taufiq di Kudus, Senin (02/09/2019).

    Taufik menuturkan, berdasarkan perolehan nilai matematika, Rasyif termasuk peserta yang mampu meraih skor di atas angka 120. Menurut aturan lomba, peserta yang berhasil melampaui skor 120 itulah yang mendapatkan award sebagai gold secondary 2.

    “Ada tiga anak yang mampu meraih skor di atas 120. Ketiga anak itu berasal dari Indonesia,” sebutnya.
