Karya Wisata Kelas VIII MTsN 1 Kudus

Sebanyak 363 siswa-siswi MTsN 1 Kudus berangkat dari Madrasah dengan menggunakan 8 bus menuju Jakarta untuk mengikuti karya wisata, (Kudus-Jakarta 18-20 April 2016). Program ini merupakan acara tahunan yang dikhususkan untuk peserta didik kelas VIII MTsN 1 Kudus.

Setelah berangkat dari MTsN 1 Kudus jam 07.30 selanjutnya seluruh peserta singgah ke Demak, Kadilangu untuk ziarah ke Makam Sunan Kalijaga, Raden Sa’id. Setelah itu seluruh rombongan menuju Masjid Istiqlal untuk menunaikan shalat Maghrib dan Isya’. Dari Istiqlal, selanjutnya menuju Asrama Haji Pondok Gede untuk istirahat selama semalam. Setelah itu baru bergerak paginya ke TMII (Taman Mini Indonesia Indah)

Selain bertujuan sebagai pengenalan kepada seluruh peserta didik tentang khasanah budaya Indonesia melalui TMII, menurut Eko Sudarmanto, S.Pd, M.Pd, selaku Waka Kesiswaan MTsN 1 Kudus- karya wisata ini juga bertujuan sebagai pelatihan pengumpulan data observasi yang selanjutnya menjadi karya ilmiah siswa kelas VIII.

Selain tujuan di atas, menurut Eko Sudarmanto, paling urgensi adalah sebagai wahana refreshing siswa yang mungkin ada yang telah jenuh dengan aktifitas sekolah yang hanya di dalam ruang. Untuk itu, siswa juga dikenalkan wahana baru.
