    Sebelum mengawali KBM yang jatuh pada tanggal 27 Juli 2015, setelah menjalankan puasa ramadan dan idul fitri, MTsN 1 Kudus mengundang  seluruh elemen madrasah, baik itu guru, karyawan, mantan guru dan karyawan, pengampu unggulan, ekstra kurikuler serta tetangga madrasah untuk mengikuti halal bihalal yang diadakan pada tanggal 25 Juli 2015 di Ruang Serbaguna, MTsN 1 Kudus.
Berbeda dengan tahun-tahun berikutnya, halal bihalal kali ini terasa sangat meriah sekali. Itu terlihat dari antusias warga tetangga madrasah yang juga ikut menghadiri halalbihalal ini. Karenanya, gedung serbaguna sangat penuh meskipun dengan karpet yang digelar memanjang memenuhi gedung serbaguna.
Dalam kesempatan itu, MTsN 1 Kudus mengundang da’i dari Padurenan, KH. Ahmad Asnawi dari Padurenan Kudus. Secara garis besar beliau mengajak seluruh hadirin untuk meningkatkan taqwa kepada Allah SWT karena hakikat dari puasa sendiri adalah untuk takwa. Beliau juga mengajak kepada seluruh hadirin untuk saling memanfaatkan hari suci idul fitri untuk saling mengakui kesalahan masing-masing dan saling memaafkan.
